VCI434 – Server Technologies

This course employs teaming concepts as the students install, implement and maintain professional web servers. The web server will set up web- database, mail and web service. The main project is convey a real web firm environment that takes their knowledge beyond the classroom buy doing major projects for non-profit organizations in their communities. Learn about QTSS (quick time streaming servers) by producing apple trailer websites and music player sites.  Learn contract techniques for freelance web programming. Also to learn how performance, troubleshooting, backups, data integrity, and administration management and administrate their web server and their site.

Prerequisite: AA degree and completion of MM351-MM360
