PL415 - Labor Law / Workers’ Compensation

This course covers the laws of the employment relationship including what constitutes an employee, termination, benefits, employee rights, and privacy issues. Discrimination in hiring and employment will also be covered as well as a detailed discussion of California’s Workers’ Compensation system. This course also covers the U.S. Immigration System, particularly the procedures and requirements for obtaining various visas and acquiring citizenship through marriage and by other means and grounds for inadmissibility. (100 Hours)
