BIO101 – Microbiology I

This course is designed to provide the student with a foundation in basic microbiology with emphasis on infectious diseases. The student will gain a basic understanding of the various characteristics of microorganisms in general and the specific characteristics of pathogenic bacteria, viruses, fungi, and protozoa.  The course provides the foundation for BIO102.
