On Saturday, August 29, the Platt College Class of 2026 crossed the stage at our annual commencement ceremony. For every graduate in the room, it closed one chapter and opened another.
Families, friends, faculty, and staff filled the seats. Graduates traveled in from our campuses across Southern California to mark the moment together.
A milestone that was earned the hard way
For many of our graduates, reaching commencement meant balancing coursework with a job, a family, or both at once.
That is the reality of career-focused education, and it is why the walk across the stage carries the weight it does.
Commencement was also a chance for graduates to thank the people who got them there. Parents, partners, classmates, and instructors all had a hand in it.

Degrees, diplomas, and the careers behind them
The Class of 2026 includes graduates earning associate degrees, bachelor’s degrees, and diplomas.
Every one of those credentials points at a specific job. Our graduates are heading into healthcare, technology, business, legal services, and design.
What the Class of 2026 studied
Graduates completed programs across all four of our schools:
- School of Medical Sciences: Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Vocational Nursing, Respiratory Therapy, Medical Assisting, Medical Administrative Specialist, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Veterinary Technology, and Healthcare Administration
- School of Information Technology: Information Technology, and Cybersecurity
- School of Business and Legal Studies: Business Management, and Criminal Justice
- School of Graphic Design: Graphic Design, and Visual Communications

Hands-on training, then the stage
What separates a career college from a lecture hall is how much of the learning happens with your hands.
Our students practice in labs, clinical settings, and externships long before they graduate. By commencement, the skills are already working skills.

What comes next for the Class of 2026
Our work does not stop at the ceremony. We stay focused on preparing students for fields where skilled professionals are genuinely needed, and on supporting graduates as they look for work.
