Platt College School of Graphic Design’s Bachelor’s Degree Hybrid program in Visual Communication helps you build the skills you need to start an exciting new career.

The Bachelor of Arts in Visual Communication at Platt College develops professionals who take concepts and create visual imagery by employing type, illustration, sound, music, photography, and animation.

  • Graduates will produce a professional-quality portfolio that positions them as candidates for entry-level employment in multiple visual communication-related industries.
  • The program includes coursework in architectural 2D, video production, 2D character development, 2D texturing and lighting, advanced 2D animation, advanced drawing, advanced motion graphics, video compositing, motion capture, web design, and dynamic web design.
  • Students gain expanded knowledge of multimedia and how to apply aesthetic concepts and design techniques in the creation of interactive media.

Graduates leave with a foundation in visual communication and a portfolio showcasing their skills for entry-level employment.

This program is currently offered on-ground and only our Ontario campus.

Platt College maintains an active career services department to assist graduates as well as current students seeking part-time or full-time jobs while attending school. However, the school cannot guarantee employment.

Students are given the opportunity to pursue job referrals maintained by Career Services.
