The Medical Assisting Hybrid Program at Platt College is designed to provide structured education in clinical patient support and assisting procedures within outpatient and clinical healthcare environments.

The Medical Assisting Hybrid Program offers:

• An Associate’s Degree in Medical Assisting
• Hybrid program delivery, combining online coursework with required on-campus instruction
• Institutional accreditation by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC)
• Approval to operate by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE)
• Curriculum focused on clinical assisting skills and patient-care–related documentation

The Medical Assisting Hybrid Program provides instruction in clinical assisting procedures and patient support tasks, preparing graduates to assist healthcare providers in outpatient and clinical settings under appropriate supervision.

The Medical Assisting Hybrid Program Associate’s Degree is designed to be completed in approximately 15 months.

Upon successful completion of the Medical Assisting Hybrid Program of all academic, attendance, and financial requirements, graduates are awarded an Associate’s Degree in Medical Assisting.

The Medical Assisting Hybrid Program is offered in a hybrid format.

Program will be taught through a combination of online and on-campus courses.

Yes. A supervised externship is a required component of the Medical Assisting Hybrid Program.
