Overview & Accreditation

For those already with an Associate’s degree in Information Technology, the Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity program is intended to provide students with useful job skills for students seeking entry-level positions in cybersecurity or ethical hacking and penetration.

The program focuses on providing the students with the skill set and knowledge in networking, digital forensics, incident response, cybersecurity and ethical hacking.

Students in the Cybersecurity program will prepare students for entry-level positions in a wide variety of areas in the technology field. Upon completion of the program, students will have acquired the technical knowledge and work skills necessary to serve employers as security specialists, security consultants, ethical hacker, penetration tester, homeland security specialist, cybersecurity specialist, computer forensics technician or cybersecurity analyst.

Career Services

Platt College maintains an active career services department to assist graduates as well as current students seeking part-time or full-time jobs while attending school. However, the school cannot guarantee employment.

Students are given the opportunity to pursue job referrals maintained by Career Services.

Our Career Services personnel explain and assist with our student’s job search process. Placement efforts occur through graduation and beyond.
