Platt College focuses on career-oriented education with small class sizes, hands-on instruction, and curriculum designed to help students prepare for entry-level positions in their chosen field. Programs are offered at four Southern California campuses (Alhambra, Anaheim, Riverside, and Ontario) and through approved distance education, with support from Admissions, Financial Aid, and Career Services teams.

Platt College offers diploma, certificate, associate, and bachelor’s degree programs in vocational nursing, healthcare administration, veterinary technology, respiratory therapy, diagnostic medical sonography, occupational therapy assistant, medical assisting, medical administrative specialist, graphic design, business management, criminal justice, cybersecurity and information technology, and healthcare administration. Not all programs are offered at all locations.

Program length varies by credential and program. Many diploma and associate degree programs can be completed in approximately 12 to 20 months, while some of our bachelor’s degree completion programs, such as healthcare administration, cybersecurity, and respiratory therapy, are typically designed for approximately 13 to 15 months depending on accepted transfer credits. The current catalog lists the hours, quarter credits, and approximate length for each specific program.

No. Not all programs are offered at every Platt College campus (Alhambra, Anaheim, Riverside, and Ontario). Program availability is subject to change. Prospective students should speak with the Admissions Department or review the campus-specific information in the current Catalog Addendum to confirm which programs are offered at each location.

Yes. Platt College participates in federal and state financial aid programs for those who qualify, including Federal Pell Grants, Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants (FSEOG), Direct Subsidized and Direct Unsubsidized Loans, Direct PLUS (parent) Loans, and Federal Work-Study, as well as selected state grants, veterans’ educational assistance, and some private scholarships.

Individual eligibility is determined through the financial aid process.


To get started, contact the Admissions Department at your preferred campus.
